Originally named as Muhammad Yusuf Khan, he has adopted the film name of Dilip Kumar. He debuted as an actor in the film Jwar Bhata in 1944 and his last film was Qila in 1998. In a career spanning over six decades, Dilip Kumar donned a variety of roles including romantic, drama, comedy and socio-historic.
He was crowned as the Tragedy King of Bollywood for playing a doomed lover on screen in Devdas, Madhumati and Ganga Jamuna. He is also acclaimed for films like Naya Daur, Mughal-e-Azam, Ram Shyam, Kranti, Mashaal, Baabul and Jogan.
Married to Bollywood actress Saira Banu, Dilip Kumar was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. Also, he was awarded the Nishan-e-Imtiaz, the highest civilian award conferred by the government of Pakistan in 1998.

and the trailer of the film was released recently, where she looked
ravishing showing of her dangerously low 'lehenga' and revealing cholis.

The film revolves around Sonia (Sweta Bharadwaj) and Suhani (Sheena Shahabadi), the film is about the fatal obsession of an adopted daughter for her mother’s affection. Sonia is a single mother who adopts her sister’s daughter when her sister and brother-in-law die in an accident due to her carelessness. Sonia, along with her maid Maria (Farida Jalal) pampers Suhani to not let her miss her parents. This has an opposite effect with Suhani developing an obsessive relationship with her. She will let nothing come between her and her mother. Unaware of her child’s problem, Sonia becomes a career-woman not focusing on her personal life beyond Suhani. She becomes a successful heroine. One day, Suhani sees Sonia and a friend arguing. She kills him, and Sonia takes the blame and is jailed for seven years.
Performance wise the film belongs entirely to Sheena Shahabadi. Yes, Sheena is the same actress who debuted with Satish Kaushik's long forgotten Terre Sang which talked about teen pregnancy. In Raqt, Sheena comes in a different avatar and fits the role. Sweta Bharadwaj is good along with Farida Jalal and other cast. Gulshan Grover plays psychiatrist and he does full justice to his part. The film is directed by Adi Irani and Shiva Ridnani who were earlier actors and served Bollywood with some good and remembered performances in past.
This time they decided to make a film which is honest and decent at the same time. The film offers lots of twist and turns in the second half, especially when Sonia is imprisoned. The songs in the film however looked unwanted, but the Background Score gels with the film. The Cinematography and Production Values are good and looked with a restrained budget. The Editing is little weak and was a drag at few points.
On a frank note as I mentioned earlier, such good films fail to create an impact and that is only because lack of valuable promotions. Raqt is a good thriller which strongly deserves a word of mouth.

Even though Ather’s reason to quit the show was that he failed to further the character, Yash, on the other side, said that he is going to give an altogether different dimension to it. "Every actor gives a different bend to his character and moulds it in his style. That's what makes him different from others," says he.

Little birdie informed, "We were unaware about the mishap. We got to know about the fire today morning around 8:00 am. We immediately rushed to the sets at Filmcity and noticed that the entire set had collapsed due to fire outburst."
On the reason behind the fire, the sources added, "Till now, it is assumed to be a short circuit and we are trying to find out the exact reason behind the fire. We are also trying to figure out how we will shoot the further episodes at earliest as there is no other alternate sets where we can continue shooting. Thankfully, there is no harm to any crew member."

“We finalised Rafi for the lead role as we were looking for a fresh face. The character of Rajveer Raghuvanshi (Rafi's character) belongs to a royal family and has that sophisticated air about him. Rafi suited the character perfectly as he is from Bhopal aur usmein woh nawaabon wala tashan hai,” said sources from the show.
Graduated from the Bhopal School Of Social Sciences, Rafi was also among the finalists in Gladrags MegaModel Hunt in 2011. He is excited about the debut show and said he is happy that he has starting acting career shooting in my hometown. “I started my career as a model and I'm elated with this break. The makers were looking for a new face, and I got lucky. I was also offered a role in Mahabharat, but this interested me more as I'm playing the lead. And it's a happy coincidence for me. I'm starting my acting career shooting in my hometown. I couldn't have asked for more,” said the newbie.
It is reported that the shooting of the show, which is based on Delhi background was held in Bhopal. They captured scenes from city's malls, lakes and Shahpura's Rainbow Treat. The makers preferred to shoot in Bhopal as they found the weather of MP more pleasant. Likewise, Rainbow Treat was converted into Delhi's Paranthe Wali Galli.
One of the team members added, “The show is based in Delhi, but it becomes very difficult to shoot there outdoors because of the sultry weather. So, we've come here. Bhopal is a shooting-friendly city. In the entire schedule, we never faced any problem and things went off very smoothly.”

According to the sources to cover up the empty time slot caused by its delay, Sony TV’s two shows Amita Ka Amit (Swastik Productions) and Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara (Rose Audio Visuals Pvt Ltd) will air for 45 minute to fill the airtime vacuum.
“Chhanchhan is over but Nandini’s launch has been delayed for two weeks due to production issues. Hence the channel made the hasty decision to fill the empty slot by extending the air time of Amita Ka Amit and Jee Le Zara,” said sources. Hence, Amita Ka Amit will air from 8:30pm-9:15pm followed by Jee Le Zara till 10 pm.
Ruslaan Mumtaz, lead protagonist of Jee Le Zara confirmed the development on his Twitter account. “Ruslaan Mumtaz @ruslaanmumtaz4h: From today #jeelezara is going to air from 9:15pm to 10pm on @SonyTV . 45mins of Sachi+Dhruv :)” (sic)

The boy, an aspiring actor, ends up signing a film with her, but after she delivers a string of flops, replaces her with a newbie. Unlike Jiah, who took her life by hanging herself from a fan, the actress in the show will jump off the fourth floor of her building.”
The Nishabd and Housefull actress hanged herself in her Juhu home in June, this year. She was in disappointment with her career and personal life. She allegedly had failed relationship, with Aditya Pancholi's son Suraj, who was blamed for the suicide.
The central characters in Yeh Hai Aashiqui will be played by Mihika Verma and Rithvik Dhanjani, while Bobby Darling will play her friend and business manager.

He was assigned to play Sunil's (Gaurav Bajpai) relative who will eventually fall for Saanchi (Sangeeta Ghosh) and this would make Dhruv (Ruslaan Mumtaz) jealous. “Jee Le Zara was all set to witness the entry of Anuj Saxena who was almost finalized to play a cameo role on the show but due to date issues the actor had to back out last minute,” informed sources. Currently, the production team is hunting for his replacement.
Apart from Kkussum, Anuj Saxena had acted in leading roles in some of the most successful TV shows of his times like KumKum, Saara Akaash and Prratima that are still remembered today. He has also made a big screen debut in the action film Chase starring Udita Goswami in 2010.

CID has always come up with innovative ideas and has managed to win the hearts of millions every time by its power packed episodes. The 1000 episode will also not disappoint its viewers; it is known the episode will have CID investigating on a dangerous island where their life would be on stake.
Expressing notions on the feat, Shivaji Satam aka ACP, said “I am overwhelmed with the response that audience have given us. Completing 1000 episodes is really a great achievement for the whole C.I.D team. I wish and pray to keep growing in the same flow and complete more 1000 episodes. Every episode was an enjoyable experience for me and I have gained a lot of popularity from this show.”

Talking about the reason of its ending? “Well, since we do not have much left in the story, we are wrapping up,” said sources from the production house. About the ending episode, it would be a happy ending indeed reported unit person, adding about the ending episode that every lead character will see settling down in life in the end. “Soumya’s (Aamir Ali) ex-wife Angie (Sonia Singh) will fall for another man and decide on leaving the house and her kids with his current wife Angana (Aleeza Khan),” said sources.
But before its end, the show will see a time slot change. It will air at8 pm slot from 30 September 2013 (till 18 September) with Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage going off-air tomorrow (27 September 2013). So what takes the 9 pm slot? “Well it has been given to Sahara’s latest offering Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hain,” sources quipped.

claims to have a belief in true love. The actor claims that he treats
love as sacred and wants to keep it on the highest pedestal. Kapoor, 30,
also revealed that arrange marriage is not in his mind at all.
"Today's new generation takes its own decisions. I don't think I will go for an arranged marriage, but I am not against arranged marriages. Personally, love is very important for me. There are lots of ordinary things in life, so love should be extraordinary. I hope I achieve that," Ranbir said.
Even though he recently accepted that Katrina Kaif is special person in his life, he is not ready to admit they are in a relationship. He said, "I am single till I get married. If I am in a relationship and if I talk about it and in case my relationship doesn't work, that puts a lot of pressure on the girl and her reputation. The acquisition marks an important milestone for Krian Media as it is the first big budget mainstream Bollywood movie that it has acquired for international distribution. In a short span since its inception Krian Media Ltd., in addition to having acquired and released G.I. Joe, it has also acquired two Tollywood and two Mollywood films for USA distribution of which it has already released one Malyalam film. Krian also recently acquired A.R. Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios Raja Rani for a Pan USA release.
Looking at the potential of international markets, Raj Malik, Vice President, Film Acquisition & Distribution, Krian Media, stated, “It is no secret that with the explosion of India internationally, Indian cinema has also been breaking newer barriers and crossing over to many more international markets. Likewise International cinema has also been increasingly making its presence felt at the Indian Box office and we at Krian Media endeavour to become the ideal channel of choice for both the above.
“In this context, the ‘Boss’ deal is significant to us not just because it is our first acquisition of a mainstream big budget Bollywood movie, but it is also the first movie that we would be distributing globally and not just in the US markets,” Mr. Malik added.
Boss is Krian Media Ltd.’s second association with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the first being G.I. Joe which released in India on 27th March 2013.
Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Cape Of Good Films and Ashwin Varde Productions and directed by Anthony D’Souza, Boss is an action comedy starring Akshay Kumar and Aditi Rao Hydari and is slated for a 16 October, 2013 release.

Revealing about the casting of celebrities, sources close to the program said, “This season, the channel has got many popular faces on their TV shows and perhaps wants to cash in on their fame. That’s why before approaching other star couples, they are asking these people. It will be interesting for audiences to see Jennifer with her husband Karan Singh Grover, Sanaya with her boyfriend Mohit Sehgal, Nakuul with his wife Janki Mehta and Kanchi Kaul with her husband Shabbir Ahluwalia.
But Kanchi-Shabbir apparently has turned down the offer. On the other hand, Jennifer and Nakuul are considering it. Other than the biggest attraction, the fat pay cheque, the actors are also looking at working out their dates for the show, which is expected to launch in a few months.”

She has been approached by Nautanki Telefilm’ owner Saurabh Tewari, who is currently leading one of the best and highly appreciated shows, Madhubala on Colors. If buzz has to be believed he has now finalised Sanaya Irani, popular as Khushi Kumari Gupta from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, to play the lead in his next on Colors.
According to sources, the show is about a girl who believes in love and how her path crosses with a man, who doesn't believe in it. “Sanaya has been in talks with the production house for a long time. She has been now been finalised. In fact, the production house was keen on casting her as the lead in Life OK's Do Dil Ek Jaan, but things couldn’t materialise back then. The production house is now busy casting the male lead. It will be a casting coup of sorts as Sanaya is much in demand despite her last show failed to rake in the ratings,” sources revealed.
Now, this is going to be a big treat for all the fans out there who are waiting to see their favorite star back on tube with a better show. We hope Sanaya will get a deserving script this time.

Even Aamir believes that the Chennai Express record will be smashed in the next two months, while his film held the record for four years.
Says sources close to Aamir, “He is confident that D3 will shatter all records, in fact he has told someone close to him, ‘3 Idiots released in 2009 and it took them four years to break that record. and the record I set with ‘Dhoom 3’, will be broken by someone in 2020.’ Aamir is not one to make statements lightly. If he says something, you better believe he will deliver.”
Says trade analyst Komal Nahta, “The trade buzz is extraordinary for Dhoom 3. If you ask me whether D3 will break the records set by Chennai Express, then the answer is, yes, 100 per cent it will! Records are made only to be broken but the question is how soon? It took four years for the record of 3 Idiots to be broken, but I feel now records will be broken in a shorter time span.
There are too many multiplexes growing every year, ticket rates are being hiked and the overall business is on the upswing so records will break faster. Aamir will excel again in D3. The expectations are very high. For the first time people will see him in a negative role. He has worked on his body and gone through so much pain and effort. With every film Aamir takes his career five steps forward.
Now he has reached a stage where he wants to add a further dimension to his career. He has a certain reputation and that extends to his films. There is a craze for him. Time and again, he has proved his brilliance.”
