Anushka Sharma might step into Freida Pinto's shoes!

Earlier, reports said that NH 10 would be the comeback vehicle for Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto in Bollywood. However, things turned worse for the filmmaker when Freida officially walked out from this project. She made the announcement before walking the red carpet at Cannes. She had signed the film, produced by Phantom Production's project, in November last year.
Her spokesperson revealed, “The film kept getting postponed. How long could Freida go on blocking her dates and keep her other commitments on hold?” Later, Sonam Kapoor was approached for the same role but she refused to step into Freida's shoes. Now, the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi girl Anushka Sharma has been in talk to sign the film. A friend of her said, “Anushka is considering the offer. She is in talks with Phantom Productions and Navdeep Singh. She will take a call very soon.”
Filmmaker Navdeep is well-known for his film Manorama Six Feet Under.
