Now it’s official that Sachin Tendulkar is all set to call it a day from the world of cricket after playing his 200th Test match against West Indies. Many are emotional after listening to this, and are expressing their emotions via various medium.

Recently it was Amitabh Bachchan, who has always supported Sachin during his heydays as well as bad days, said that the news of the latter’s retirement came as a shock for him. "I heard the news and I was shocked," Big B said on the occasion of his 71st birthday.

"Sachin is the heart of cricket. He is a phenomenal athlete. He has not just excelled himself in cricket, but he is also a symbol of great excellence. It's unimaginable to see him retire. Cricket will not be the same without Sachin," said Amitabh.

Before Amitabh, Shah Rukh Khan had always made his feeling known on twitter as he spoke about Sachin’s retirement. Shah Rukh said, "O no! Suddenly realised the meaning of addiction. Mine was the Master. I am going thru cold turkey. To see cricket without Sachin? Unbearable."

Well, as they say all good things come to end, same is with the Indian batting maestro. Nevertheless, he will always be remembered!
