Channel V’s youth show Suvreen Guggal - Topper of The Year, produced by Four Lions might bid adieu to its loyal viewers this November. The show, which earlier received immense popularity amongst youngsters thanks to its appealing and realistic storyline, is currently dropping on the TRP board after lacking its original theme and this turned to be the reason of its going off air.

As per the sources close to the channel it is revealed that the show has nothing new to present in the story and moreover its leading lady Smiriti Kalra is also leaving the show.  “The show might be pulled off-air in November because there is nothing new to showcase in the story anymore and the protagonist of the show Smiriti Kalra is also leaving the show as she wants to take a break. The team might have their last day of shoot on 15th November,” informed sources.

When sources contacted Smiriti Kalra aka Suvreen about the news, she said, “Yes, it's right that I am leaving the show. All good things come to an end. There's nothing new to play in this character anymore. The story of Suvreen is also coming to an end. I loved playing the character of Suvreen. I don't have any future plans but I am planning to travel; I want to go to Ladakh.”

While Shivin Narang, who plays Yuvraj in the show said things are yet to finalize. “Nothing is confirmed yet,” he averred.
