Amitabh Bachchan to introduce Maharana Pratap

Courtesy Amitabh Bachchan’s long and successful association with channel Sony via Kaun Banega Crorepati, the viewers of the channel will get to hear the megastar introducing Maharana Pratap's history in the first episode of Sony’s soon-to-be launched television show Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap.

This has indeed come as a great tool for marketing the show as getting someone as great as Mr. Bachchan to lend his mesmerizing is no less than a feat. Roopali Singh of the show said, "What can be a better way to grab the viewer's attention than by roping in Amitabh Bachchan to do the voiceover? He was our first and only choice."

Speaking about the initial narration, Roopali further added, "Bachchanji will talk about how India in the past was like a golden bird and therefore an opportunity for the Mughals, Turks and Afghans to invade it. We are hoping to get a good response." This show will bring forth the lesser known facts and achievements that Maharana Pratap made during his lifetime.
