Anil Kapoor's 24 garnered praises from Hollywood!

Anil Kapoor’ co-star and friend Tom Cruise of Mission Impossible has reportedly appeared as a helping hand for him when Anil was preparing for the role of Jai Singh Rathore, ATU chief in Indian version of 24. Cruise has also made his support public through a tweet, saying, “Follow the Man.” This is not it, Kiefer Sutherland, who played the original Jack Bauer in 24, has extended his congratulations on the show's big launch.
Expressing his gratitude over the appreciation by his colleagues, Anil Kapoor said, “I am humbled to have received so much appreciation and support, not only from my friends in Bollywood, but also from those in Hollywood. When we brought 24 to India, we had a huge responsibility on our shoulders, to do justice to the show's format while matching international standards. Getting appreciated by the international film fraternity makes me feel that we have done justice to the show.”
Written by Rensil D'Silva, Bhavani Iyer and Priya Pinto, directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Anil Kapoor Films, the show airs on Colors channel.
Now the newest buzz about her states that she has been taken aboard to play Anil Kapoor's wife in the Indian adaptation of popular American espionage drama 24! Directed by Abhinay Deo and produced by Kapoor's company, the series will see Anil play Jack Bauer, an anti-terror squad leader.
One of the source from the production house confirmed, "Yes, Tisca has been finalized for the role. But she's yet to sign her contract."
Tisca will be essaying mother to newbies Adhish Khanna and Sapna Pabbi in 24. The actress, who began shooting for the show on Wednesday, shared, "I'm really excited as it is a huge franchise and a gigantic platform for me. It's a challenging role and I'll get to do things I have never done before. Many moons ago, I worked with Anil in Karobar. In this show, I have some wonderful co-stars, a fabulous channel and a rocking director, so all the boxes are checked."
