Deepika Padukone says she won't accept infidelity!
Deepika Padukone recently spoke about her first movie
Om Shanti Om with
Shahrukh Khan and her career from there has come a long way till
Chennai Express.
The actress says that Shahrukh Khan has not changed a bit until now in
her six year long career. Deepika feels glad when she is called the next
number 1 in the industry as she is not from a filmy background and had
to start from scratch.
Making space for herself in the industry was not a cakewalk for her. She is happy to have been launced by
Farah Khan
and Shahrukh Khan. The actress does not know much about cinema until
now as she didn’t watch too many movies. When people talk about movies
around her, she feels out of place.
She also accepts of making mistakes in the industry but doesn’t regret them now.
The actress will next be seen with Shahrukh Khan again in the movie
Happy New Year which will be directed by none other than Farah Khan. Deepika says that she feels secure when she is with the two of them.
Also when asked about his relation with
Ranbir Kapoor
she said, “The space that we are in, it can’t get more beautiful than
it already is. And I wouldn’t ever want to lose what we have today. It’s
a nice space. I believe it should just be the way it is.”
Also when it came to
Ranveer Singh, his co-star of
Ram Leela
and alleged boyfriend, she said, “People are going to, people would
like to and people are more than welcome to speculate about Ranveer and
me. But there’s too much goodness around me to worry about these
speculations.”
Also speaking of her take on infidelity, the
actress said, “I’ve always had only one take on it. I won’t accept
infidelity. I’m extremely narrow-minded and conservative when it comes
to relationships.”
Well, Deepika seems to be too clear with her words and we appreciate her for this.
The film collected Rs. 200 crore at the box-office, and has also managed to score high on the movie-on-demand service of direct-to-home operator DishTV. For those unaware, the film was offered by DishTV to its users starting September 25, and the film has been making buzz ever since.
In fact, it went on to break all previous records for largest number of orders for any single title on the movie-on-demand platform.
"Shah Rukh Khan`s unique ability to connect with fans across all age groups and in all parts of the country worked as a huge catalyst in redefining the dynamics of movie viewing on movie-on-demand, and in achieving this breakthrough viewership," Salil Kapoor, chief operational officer, DishTV, said in a statement.
"We look forward to building this synergy of entertainment with more such more such big titles from the superstar to delight our subscribers," added Kapoor.
The film, helmed by Rohit Shetty, also featured Deepika Padukone, and is presently the highest grosser at the box-office, beating Aamir Khan’s film 3 Idiots record!
