Be it Sindoora of Zee TV’s hit show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, or Kamya of Sahara One’s Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Kamya Punjabi always left stealing the thunder and carving a higher niche in small screen industry with her conventional and brilliant performance.

She was recently seen tickling down the funny bones of audience in Colors’ comedy show The Nautanki Theatre, but will soon return to her favorite section acting in daily soap as vamp. She has been roped in for yet another negative character in an upcoming show Do Dil Ek Jaan. “Kamya is going to be seen in a venomous avatar in the show. She will make life hell for the lead couple played by Ayaz Ahmed and newbie Nikita Sharma,” informed source, adding, the show also features veteran actor Farooque Shaikh in vital role.

Kamya was previously seen in Parvarish of Sony TV, Uttaran of Colors, Maryada on Star Plus and many more in the list. She is well-known for playing negative character and most of her dailies feature her as vamp. She also done role in couple of Bollywood films like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Na Tum Jano Na Hum, Koi Mil Gya and more.

Zarina Wahab to enter Madhubala as Sultan's mother!

Nautanki Telefilms production Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors will soon witness a new member in the show in form of veteran actress Zarina Wahab. The bollywood actress, who is also active in small screen industry, was last seen playing mother to Karan V Grover in Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli of Zee TV.

According to source, she will soon mark her presence in Madhubala as mother of Sultan, antagonist of the show played by Avinesh Rekhi. “Zarina's character, as Sultan's mother, will be a mix of various shades. While she is a doting mother, she also harbors hatred for RK (Vivian Dsena) and his family. She has a connection with RK from the past,” informs source, adding, Zarina is currently having no show and will commence the shooting of Madhubala in short period of time.

Zarina recently played mother of Ajay Devgn in Himmatwala. She has done bollywood films like I, Me Aur Main, Agneepath, My Name Is Khan, Dil Maange More and many more.

Kishwer Merchantt to play a witch in Savitri!

Flying Turtles' fantasy tale, Savitri aired on Life OK has successfully managed to bag fair attention from the TV buffs. As it stands to be a supernatural drama series, the makers always bring in some innovation to the plot and execution.

Following the same, sources say that the upcoming track will have the character of a witch in a double role. And in order to make sure that full justice is done to the character, makers have got in the very talented Kishwer Merchantt, who had played the part of a vampire in Star One’s Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani.

Source added, "Kishwer has been finalized to essay a meaty role in Savitri, where she will play two characters, one of a bad witch, Kaya and the other of a good witch, Chaya. Bad witch will try to create problems for Savitri while the good one will save and help her in the journey".

Kishwer Merchantt confirmed," Yes, I am doing Savitri and I will be playing a witch." She will start shooting from June 4, 2013.

Praneeta Sahu aka Surbhi to turn protagonist in Colors Uttaran!

After doing all devious ploys in Color’s show Uttaran, Praneeta Sahu, who plays antagonist Surbhi will soon transform in positive character. The show is being produced by Filmfarm Productions and is one of the longest running shows on channel, Balika Vadhu is another one.

According to sources soon there will be a surprising episode for audience wherein Surbhi’s character will be seen all optimistic. She had have joined the show as a very simple and sweet daughter-in-law of Ichcha aka Tina Dutta. However, over the passage of time, her character turned grey. She is shown doing planning and plotting against Ichcha and her daughter Meethi, also played by Tina Dutta.

However, things will witness transforming to her side and she will come out as supporter of Ichcha and Meethi. Praneeta said, “Yes, there are possibilities of my character turning positive but nothing is confirmed yet.” When source asked what does she loves to essay most, negative or positive, she replied, “I like both, though negative has more scope for performance.”

Will her character really turn positive or this is just another jolt in storyline to bounce TRPs? Let’s wait and watch!
