Mumbai Indians finally annexed their maiden Pepsi Indian Premier League
title upstaging a jittery Chennai Super Kings by 23 runs in the final on
Sunday in Kolkata to bring the curtains down to a tarnished sixth
season of the cash-rich league. Mumbai Indians team along with Mukesh
and Nita Ambani's son Hari Anant celebrate with winners trophy after

“This is my last season. I’ve got to be realistic here. The journey has been fantastic and this is the icing on the cake!"
Never too late. It's a special moment. I can't wait to get hold of the trophy. Finally, we've been able to achieve our target. A big thank you to all the supporters. I think this is the right time to stop playing this tournament. I'm 40 and have to accept the reality. I have decided that this is my last season and it has ended perfectly. All the hard work has played off.
Things don't come easily and the guys were prepared to do well. The tournament is exciting but it's tiring as well. The body clock changes and there is no time to rest. With all that, a lot of adjustments are required and it has been a fantastic outing for us this year,” he said.
