Bhojpuri famous item girl Sambhavna Seth is set to heat up Bollywood, having an item song in John Abraham starrer Welcome Back. She is elated for the big-ticket item number and proudly says now she has her own item number.

Talking about the song and experience of working with John, she said, “The song is called Main Bubbly Hui, Tu Bunty Hua, Kamre Mein 20-20 Hua. The entire experience was wonderful. John is such a humble fellow with no starry tantrums at all. The song is a huge, huge jump for my career. Even though I was doing so many live performances, I did not have that one number which I could call my own. Now, I can proudly say that I have my own song.”

Though she enjoys her image of item girl, Sambhavna now is looking forward to break this and try her luck in acting. “I would like to break away from the item girl image. Lekin iska matlab yeh nahi hai ke I would break away from dancing. Dancing mujhse koi chheen nahi sakta, yeh image bhi nahi koi le sakta. I've always wanted to establish myself as an actor but have never gotten the opportunity. Now, I want to do television shows. Saas-bahu sagas, positive or negative role, any challenging character would do.”

If everything goes well, Sambhavna might be seen burning the floor of Nach Baliye. “I have been offered Nach Baliye and I really, really want to do it. Ab toh mere paas baliye bhi hai. We are waiting for the channel to get back to us. I hope it works out,” she

Nargis Fakhri has launched her official Facebook page, realizing the power of the digital medium to interact with her fan base. The actor has a strong presence on twitter with over 3 lakh followersalready.

Nargis regularly tweets and enjoys interacting with her fans. She also keeps them updated about her whereabouts and uses twitter to express her opinions and views. The actor, who made her debut with Ranbir Kapoor in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar, also has an Instagram account. She frequently posts images. Nargis enjoys being personally involved on all her digital platforms and likes to manage all the profiles single-handedly. Hence, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the actor appears to be her candid-self online, as well!

With a new Facebook page, Nargis is certainly excited about the launch, “I have never been on Facebook before. I am really excited and look forward to reaching out to my audience on the digital platform”, she says.

This happens to be a great time for the actor to launch her Facebook page, as her film, Madras Café is scheduled for release on 23rd of August.  Nargis will star opposite John Abraham in the action thriller.

Looks like Madras Cafe is turning out to be a film which is too bold for its own good. With the film’s second trailer release, a fresh bout of controversies is rising. Madras Cafe’s second trailer is out and it talks about the assassination of India’s ex Prime Minister. The trailer also shows a Tamil rebel group leader Anna played by Tamil actor Ajay Ratnam. Call it a coincidence but the actor bears a very close resemblance to the LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran. The look and the costume are similar to the rebel leader as well.

The Tamil group Naam Thamizhar have already expressed their objection to the film’s release as they are alleging that the film is showcasing the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) in bad light. The group has also demanded that they should be allowed to preview the film before the release. However, the film’s director Shoojit Sircar has denied the allegations. “Any fictional story will take things from real events. And for this film it is the backdrop of Sri Lanka, so, obviously, it refers to all those who were part of that time -- from the rebels, to civilians, to the peace force and the governments of Sri Lanka and India. Please watch the film before arriving at any conclusions.”

Earlier Shoojit Sircar had said that “There is a fictional rebel group in the film but we don't call them the LTTE and unless you see it you can't pass judgment.” Well! Simply calling the rebel group by a different name may not save the day for Madras Cafe if there is any protest post release. As of now, the makers of the film are very happy that the film has been cleared by the Censor Board and is releasing on the scheduled date of 23rd August.

Madras Cafe starring John Abraham and Nargis Fakhri has been directed by Shoojit Sircar and is slated to release nationwide in theatres on 23rd August. It is co-produced by JA Entertainment, Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Rising Sun Films.
