Sudeep Sahir to make his Bollywood debut!
Right from playing the chocolate boy to the village-bred guy, to a sophisticated business man, TV actor
Sudeep Sahir has
essayed all his roles with perfection. And now like many of his fellow
TV actors, it’s time for the young lad to seek greener pastures.
Buzz has it that Sudeep is heading for his Bollywood debut and will be working under
Saif Ali Khan’s Illuminati Films. The movie will be directed by
Arif Ali, who happens to be the brother of
Imtiaz Ali. Sudeep was last seen essaying the lead role in
Life OK’s Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki.
It is notable that Saif’s Illuminati Films has so far belted out all successful movies
Love Aaj Kal,
Cocktail and the most recent being
Go Goa Gone, a zombie comedy that had
Kunal Khemu,
Vir Das,
Anand Tewari,
Puja Gupta and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles.
Well, Sudeep has indeed got a great platform and we just hope that he makes the best out if it. Good luck Sudeep!
Nevertheless with Bullett Raja approaching in, it is expected that Saif too would enter in the list, and here he also has the backing of Sonakshi Sinha, whose almost every film has entered in his big league. The film has been directed by renowned filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia.
The audience is thrilled watching the trailer of the movie, making it one of the quickest film teaser to cross the 2.5 million mark without the need of any promotions. Saif has worked really hard for the film, and even went on to muscle up for his role. He plays a gangster from Uttar Pradesh in the movie, hence he was required to change his dialect as well.
In fact Tigmanshu personally gave lesson to Saif for the same and now he has perfected the accent. Sources say, “Tigmanshu ensured that Saif spoke with a lot of locals to understand the language better. Since they share a great rapport, it was easy for Saif to learn with Tigmanshu’s involvement. Saif is a fast learner, so he picked up the nuances quickly.”
On his part, Tigmanshu says, “Saif is a very proactive actor and he keenly participated in the learning process. He is truly a director’s actor, and he diligently listened to what I had to say.”
The film comes out on November 29!
