People got irked when they found that Ekta Kapoor’s much controversial historical show Jodha Akbar is showcasing a false story and picture of two protagonists, Mewar princess Jodha and Mugal King Akbar. First they demanded the filmmaker to change the names of the character, but when it didn’t happen, Shri Rajput Karni Sena in Rajasthan announced that they will not let Ekta Kapoor release her film OUATIMD in the state.

The release date of Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan starrer OUATIMD was 1st August, all over the nation. To sort out the matter, Ekta especially flew down to Jaipur on August 15 around 12 noon, had a meeting with the Rajput Karni Sena members and its chief Lokendra Singh Kalvi.

“We never had any intentions of hurting anybody's feelings through our show. But if it, in any manner has hurt anybody I sincerely apologize for it. As far as the name of the show is concerned, we are ready to change the name from Jodha Akbar to only Akbar. We are also ready to change the name of the characters,” assured Ekta.

She also agreed to not use the terms Kshatriya or Rajput in the serial, but added, “We cannot stop the show since we have contractual obligations. But if the channel refuses to make changes, Balaji as the production company will withdraw from the show.”

It was only after this OUATIMD, which was supposed to be screened at the morning shows, could be screened. “Yes, only after her confirmation and Sena chief's approval, the film has been released in almost 70 screens across the state,” said film distributor Sanjay Chatar of Marudhar Entertainment.

It’s time for another in Zee TV's Rab Se Sohna Isshq, and this time it is going to be big one, as the show is all set for a revamp in terms of story line. Recently the show had taken six years leap, and now the story will move forward by another 16 years!

As per sources, the story will then focus on the younger generation of Sahiba (Ekta Kaul) and Ranveer's (Ashish Sharma) son. The work on the casting process is on and a fresh new cast will be part of the post leap story.

Sources claim that Ekta will carry forward the story by playing the mother. However, Daljeet (Kanan Malhotra) might not being part of the post leap story. While, Ashish Sharma might be seen playing the son of Ranveer, who will be very much like his father.

As per the ongoing track, there will be major drama played on whether Fateh is Ranveer or not, post which Anu and Fateh will get married. On the other hand, Daljeet will also get married to another girl. The post jump plot will have Ranveer's son falling for Daljeet's daughter.

When sources contacted Ashish Sharma, he said, “Yes, I have heard of the leap. But I have not decided on anything as of now. I will be able to decide on whether to stay back or not only after getting to know of the story ahead.”

After almost three months of brilliant journey, time has arrived for Zee TV’s maiden season of India’s Best Dramebaaz to confine with all glitz and galore. The finale episode has been shot recently in Mumbai bestowing the winner in form of Pune’s Aditya Singhal.

Yes you heard it right, 12-year-old wonder boy Aditya Singal has earned the title of India’s Best Dramebaaz leaving five competitors Anjali Astha, Chinmay Deshmukh, Mehnaaz Maan, Nihaar Gite and Praneet Sharma, below on the competition. He not only impressed all three judges- Sonali Bendre, Anurag Basu and Vivek Oberoi, but also won the hearts of audience by his talent and conventional performance.

He consistently performed well on the show and on the judgment day, he proved his mettle performing some nerve-tickling act. According to source, the finale was shot in the presence of celebrity guest Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor along with their film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani promotional event. “Aditya Singhal has finally made Pune proud by winning the series of being the best Dramebaaz. (The shoot took place yesterday). The episode will see handsome Ranbir Kapoor and beautiful Deepika Padukone gracing the finale to promote their upcoming flick, Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani.”

Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai is heading towards its end. Earlier too there were rumors of the show being shut up. However, the cast and crew had denied the same back then.

But the latest updates now state that the show will breathe its last this July-end. While we're on the subject, the makers wanted to introduce a time leap but the actors weren't ready to age on screen.

A source said, "Taking a time leap required the actors to age on the screen and become parents. However, the cast refused to continue with the show, which has left the channel with no option but to end it on a happy note next month. Apparently, Kushal Tandon aka Virat had almost quit the show last month but the makers promised him a better storyline and wanted him to stay put. With the new storyline requiring him to become a father, the actor has declined."

Producer Siddharth Malhotra confirmed, "The channel didn't want to shut the show. Both the channel and the production house tried reasoning with the cast. But since they are unwilling to play parents on screen, we have to forcibly end the show."
