Telly actress Tejasvi Welingker was last seen in Life OK’s much appreciated show 26/12 based on real life incident 26/11. She has now been signed to play lead role in second season of Sanskaar-Dharohar Apon Ki on Colors. The same role was earlier offered to popular actress Krystle D’Souza, but it was Tejasvi’s fate that she signed for the key role. It would be her first role as lead actress and her expectations are high from the show.

Sanskaar 2 features Jay Soni on lead role and started to air at 7pm after replacing Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal. The entire cast and crew of the second season is same except its female lead. It was Shamin Mannan, who originally played the role of Bhoomi and the latter was replaced by Kadambari Kadam Desai. On the current track, the role of Bhoomi has ended post her accident sequence. Soon, in the forthcoming episode the new female lead will be introduced in form of Tejasvi Welingker.

She will play the role of a simple happy go lucky girl Dhara who will enter Kishan's (Jay Soni) life. She will also have a brother. Tejasvi said, “I am very excited and feeling very responsible for the show and I wanted this show to be something which I would love to watch and I am sure this season will be much better than the previous one. This season is more active.”

The latest buzz in town has that sex-comedy Grand Masti has collected Rs 66.48 crore in its first week. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film released on September 13, opened with Rs.12.51 crore. It stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani along with six actresses.

Grand Masti, which is a sequel to Masti (2004), took nine years, to make, however, if believe the filmmakers, producer Ashok Thakeria and director Indra Kumar, the third installment of the franchisee would be ready in just nine months.

Says Thakeria, “Yes the magnitude of success of Grand Masti has taken us all aback. Even on Monday the shows are going full everywhere. God has been kind. We are definitely going into Masti 3 right away. The first sequel took us nine years to make. The second sequel will come in much less time, I promise you that.” It will also be far more sexy raunchy and in-your-face.

He added, “The audience loved our sense of humour.
