The latest buzz from B-town has that, industry superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Shahid Kapoor, are coming together for a seven-hour marathon entertainment show on television.

Not only this, but popular small-screen faces would also be joining them. Meanwhile, Samir Kochhar is the one who would be anchoring the show throughout. For those unaware, for the event, Film Producers Guild, Federation of Western India Cine Employees and Cine & TV Artistes' Association, have joined hands.

The main motive behind this is to raise funds for the Uttarakhand flood victims. It will air across six channels of the broadcaster on Independence Day. Says a source, "Since the show will run for seven hours, we have roped in Bollywood and TV biggies to host various segments."

Looks like Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood; Aamir Khan is certainly going places. The perfectionist star is growing trendy with time and people overseas are also besotted by his charm.

As heard, the latest foreign personality to have been left enthralled by Aamir is Bill Gates. The Microsoft chairman took to his blog to express his desire to meet the Bollywood superstar.

Gates wrote, “I’m also looking forward to meeting Aamir Khan, the Bollywood star and activist. I want to hear about his work as a UNICEF ambassador for child nutrition. I also want to hear about his TV show, Satyamev Jayate (Truth Alone Prevails), which is shining a light on some critical issues facing India. And maybe, if I’m lucky, he’ll show me a few dance moves.”

Aamir Khan’s debut TV show Satyamev Jayate which was launched last year marked the emergence of Aamir Khan as a social activist. He raised a number of social issues- female foeticide, Dowry, child sex abuse etc.

The show indeed inspired a number of people and also forced politicians to take a note of the issues highlighted by him. Even today, it stands as an inspiration for many!
