A scary development seen on the sets of SAB TV’s comedy show FIR that was caught by fire. It seems the leading TV shows of small screen to be vulnerable to fire mishaps for some time now. Post Housewife Hai Sab Jaanti Hai and Comedy Nights with Kapil, its FIR that caught by major fire. Thankfully no one is hurt in the accident.

Kavita Kaushik, lead character Chandramukhi Chautala of the show, about the mishap said, “It was a massive fire outburst on our sets but with God's grace no one is injured. We give full marks to our sets and 5 stars for being so well equipped. There were huge fire extinguishers on the sets which were used and thus our set was saved from turning into ashes.”

Explaining the whole incident, Kavita averred, “We were shooting and in the middle of it there was a fire outburst. Sensing that the fire might get worse, I asked everyone to vacant the place immediately. While things were getting back to normal on the sets, I invited the entire crew to my house for lunch. Now that everything is perfect, we have resumed shooting.”

Her co-actor Gopi thanked Kavita for her active response during the situation. “I am a little injured as my pants caught fire. All thanks to Kavita Kaushik who saved me from getting hurt dangerously,” shared Gopi.

Producer Sanjay Kohli said, “The shooting got stalled for 3 hours. Luckily and by the grace of God, the situation was brought under control before any major damage could happen. Only Gopi’s trousers got burnt but he too is okay now.”

Hope things will turn normal on the sets soon!

Big changes have been made by creatives of SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju. Buzz has been doing around stated that female lead Giaa Maanek has been asked to leave and the makers has signed Sabki Laadli Bebo girl Shivshakti Sachdev to take her place in the comedy show.

Sources says that Giaa was acting way too pricey and after her starry tantrums touched sky high, the makers (Eagle Films) decided to let her go. “The show was supposed to end in this month. But it later got an extension of 50 episodes. But, since sometime Giaa has been creating issues for the production house. She has been complaining about clothes, shooting timings and what not. Finally, with things going out of hand, she got sacked,” informs sources.

When sources contacted Giaa about the same, she said, “I will talk to you and my fans when the time is right.” While other side Shivshakti remain unavailable to answer.

This is not it; the show is also facing problems from other actors. Amit Tandon, who plays Rahul on the show, has also stopped shooting. Other side makers have called the actor Karan Goddwani, who essayed Johnny back on the show.

Ali Asgar plays male protagonist on the show, which is adapted from the American sitcom I Dream Of Jeannie.

After making a dynamic appearance in comedy shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil and Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali, superstar Akshay Kumar is slated to land on the sets of SAB TV’s very popular Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma, to promote his film Boss. Patrakar Popatlal (Shyam Pathak) will attend a press conference for Boss, post which he will invite the actor to Gokuldham society

As seen, the Gokuldham society is celebrating Navratri and decided to celebrate Navratri with dholkis and shehnais, however, the society members would be unsuccessful in setting up a dholki and shehnai for playing garba. Akshay Kumar will step in at that moment and offer help, hence, resolving the issue. The actor will not only perform aarti and but also play garba with the entire cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

An excited Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben on the show said after the culmination of the shoot that they had a gala time with the actor. “This time we had decided to celebrate dandiya in a very traditional manner and besides the clothing, we also decided to get dholwala instead of a DJ to do garba. Akshay came to our rescue and brought in musicians from his event to help us celebrate.”

Daya Ben, better known as garba queen on the show, will be seen teaching Akshay Kumar how to play perfect garba.

After tasting the comedy genre on SAB TV’s Gutur Gu, good-looking TV actress Anita Hassanandani is returning to the genre which she fits in the most. She will soon play a romantic character in the debut episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui that will bring various unconventional love stories.

The reality show will see Vikrant Massey as its host and feature people entering into relationships that are still considered a taboo in the society. It will go on air from August 25 only on youth channel UTV Bindass.

Hassanandani will play Priyanka and the story revolves around a young photographer Tushar. He will fall in love with Priyanka, who is a wife of an army officer. Priyanka reciprocates to his feelings, but their lives take a turn when the duo is stuck between the game of heart versus mind.

Anita confirmed her presence on Yeh Hai Aashiqui saying, “I'm excited about playing a romantic character after a really long time. The concept of the show is brilliant and very interesting as it reflects today's youth. They are more open and bolder, but then that's what love is.”

She added, “One falls in love without thinking! I'm sure the audiences will connect with Yeh Hai Aashiqui as it will feature stories inspired from real life.

The new show will also feature young TV actors like Yuvraj Thakur, Charlie Chauhan, Jay Kanani, Sanjay Sharma and Vineet Raina.

Hard work always pays you back. SAB TV’s popular sitcom show F.I.R featuring some of the hilarious characters like Chandramukhi Chautala played by Kavita Kaushik, inspector Bajrang by Aamir Ali and many more to name, has successfully proved its mettle and will soon join the elite 1000 episodes club.

Presently, we have some renowned shows who have achieved the feat like Uttaran (Colors), Balika Vadhu (Colors), CID (Sony), Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus), Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV) and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV).

F.I.R, which has once again begin basking the points on TRP board after the comeback of Kavita, will complete its 1000th episode on 5 September (2013), the entire unit is looking forward to the D-day.

Elated producer of the show Sanjay Kohli said, “It feels ecstatic. It’s an unbelievable phase that we are going through and we feel marvelous that a comedy show is celebrating 1000 episodes.”

About the celebration plans, he said, “We are planning a very different and exciting storyline where Chandramukhi would be solving her 1000th case and it would also be the 1000th theft of the robber. So it would be a race between them as to who will find success in the chor-police game. All the characters in the show would have something different and unique to essay in their roles.”

Lapataganj Ek Baar Phir is like blessing in disguise to me, says Rohitash Gaud!

Actor Rohitash Gaud is all glad that Lapataganj is coming with its season 2 on SAB TV. He will continue to play Mukund in the second season of and admitted that he was heartbroken when the show went off air.

For those unaware, after successfully completing 850 episodes, Lapataganj went off-air in January this year. However, now it is back after taking a six-year leap. While speaking at the launch of the new season, Rohitash shared, "I was heartbroken when the show went off air. I could not see any point in that. But now the show is back so I am very, very happy. It's like 'blessing in disguise' (for me)”.

He has earlier been part of the shows like Hum Aapke Hain In Laws and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. "May be new colors and new flavors were destined to come in the show," he said. Lapataganj showcased the life of a common man in an imaginary village where basic amenities are limited, but emotionally they were contented.

Now in Lapataganj Ek Baar Phir, the villagers will be provided with water, electricity, mobile phones and ATM facilities but they will continue to struggle as nothing works properly. Not just Rohitash, his co-star Sucheta Khanna, who plays Indumati, his wife in the show, is excited too.

"I am super charged (for the show) and I will give a better shot this time. It's one of the most successful roles of my career," she said.

Another handsome hunk of television is set to embrace Bollywood! Buzz states that Amit Tandon, who is seen in SAB TV’s Jeannie Aur Juju as Rahul Chaturvedi, is all up to make his big debut on the silver screen.

Sources have got the update that Amit will be seen in Vikram Bhatt's 3D thriller movie Creature, which is said to be on the lines of Hollywood classic Jurassic Park. Amit has truly turned out to be lucky with his debut Bollywood film as he will get to share the screen space with Bong beauty Bipasha Basu, who plays the lead role in the film. Pakistani actor Imran Abbas is playing the male lead.

"Amit is playing an important character in the film," said the associate director of the film. "Yes, I am there in Creature. It is a hectic schedule for me as I have to shoot for Jeannie Aur Juju, then I am opening my play centre, Play Around, in Mumbai on June 7 and leaving to shoot for the film in Ooty on June 8," said Amit, who has a 16 day schedule in the film.

Sources added that Amit will be seen as Arjun, one part of a couple who encounter the creature in their honeymoon. Aparnaa Bajpai, who has many commercials to her credit, is playing his wife. "I will get to do romantic, action, and horror scenes. I might also need to do some stunts," said Amit, who is confident of releasing a Punjabi album by the year end.
