Television actor Akshay Dogra seems to be lucky these days. After playing a prominent character in Star Plus’ hit show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, he bagged Colors’ comedy show Mrs Pammi Pyarelal. And now sources say Akshay Dogra will soon be seen essaying a vital role in Saurabh Tewari’s latest offering Do Dil Ek Jaan on Life OK.

As per the sources his entry will mark a love triangle on the show. He will start falling in love with Antara (Nikita Sharma), who is in love with Raghu (Ayaz Ahmed). “Daya Mai (Shilpa Shinde) has always been extremely protective about her son. She had sent him abroad for better studies and a brighter future. He will fall in love with Antara at first sight. And they will get married, eventually. The twist in the tale is that he will turn out to be an obsessive lover, which will create havoc in Antara's life,” reported sources.

Akshay also confirmed the news saying, “Nothing is official yet. I will only be able to confirm it in a day or two.”

Be it Sindoora of Zee TV’s hit show Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, or Kamya of Sahara One’s Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Kamya Punjabi always left stealing the thunder and carving a higher niche in small screen industry with her conventional and brilliant performance.

She was recently seen tickling down the funny bones of audience in Colors’ comedy show The Nautanki Theatre, but will soon return to her favorite section acting in daily soap as vamp. She has been roped in for yet another negative character in an upcoming show Do Dil Ek Jaan. “Kamya is going to be seen in a venomous avatar in the show. She will make life hell for the lead couple played by Ayaz Ahmed and newbie Nikita Sharma,” informed source, adding, the show also features veteran actor Farooque Shaikh in vital role.

Kamya was previously seen in Parvarish of Sony TV, Uttaran of Colors, Maryada on Star Plus and many more in the list. She is well-known for playing negative character and most of her dailies feature her as vamp. She also done role in couple of Bollywood films like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, Na Tum Jano Na Hum, Koi Mil Gya and more.

Nautanki and Bag Films' Do Dil EK Jaan is set to go on air on Life OK from June 3. It will capture the travails of two lovers who are brought together by destiny but their journey is marred by testing ordeals.

Ayaaz Ahmed and Nikita Sharma will essay the roles of Raghu and Antara in the serial. Now as per the latest reports, after roping in veteran actors like Farooq Sheikh, the show has got in another talented senior name in the form of Kali Prasad Mukherjee. Kali, who is active in both television and Bollywood industry, will be the new entrant in the drama. “Yes, I am doing the show however I can't reveal anything about my character as there is a suspense related to it,” said Mukherjee, who has proved his versatility in shows like Tere Liye, Pavitra Rishta and films like A Wednesday, Agyaat to name a few.

He will play a vital character in the show. His character will have mysterious shades to it. The actor was initially roped in to play Sultan's (Avinesh Rekhi) father in Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, however his role was later chopped in Madhubala and he was finalized for the Life OK show. Kali Prasad will be part of the Mumbai star cast.
