Gumrah to come with season 3 having Karan Kundra as the host!

Gumrah to come with season 3 having Karan Kundra as the host!

on Monday at 03:56pm
The Lost Boy Production in association with Balaji Telefilms came up with a never chilling concept of juvenile crime via Channel V's Gumrah-The end of innocence.

This youth targeted show even saw Karan Kundra with the fame of Kitni Mohabbat Hai 1 & 2 donning the hat of a host. Karan did a fantabulous job as the host and won accolades from many. Success of season 1 made way for season 2, which liked equally. And now buzz states that the makers are geared to bring in season 3.

A source said, "Gumrah 3 was in making since the time season 2 ended but the host Karan Kundra was busy in his prior commitments. However since today the entire cast has started the shoot. Few new comers have been roped in to be in the first episode".  Anita Hassanandani has been finalized to play a pivotal role in the episode. "Karan Kundra will be seen weighing the hosting responsibility as earlier," added source.

The producer of Lost Boy Productions, Vikas Gupta confirmed Gumrah 3 coming soon. "Yes, I am doing Gumraah but can't talk on the same right now," confirmed Anita.

Surely a treat for its fans!

Channel V's Best Friends Forever to end on a festive note!

Channel V's Best Friends Forever to end on a festive note!

Best Friends Forever on Channel V went on air on 3 December 2012 with story loosely based on the American TV show Pretty Little Liars and concentrated on not-so-sweet side of friendship between three girls.

It aired with constant good TRPs but now time has arrived to bid adieu, contentedly on a festive note. The show, which began revolving around the lives of students of a prestigious law college, Westwood College of Law, has gone through lot of twist and turns. It entertained all with three leading ladies Ela, Sanju and Vinnie, played by Charlie Chauhan, Fenil Umrigar and Shritama Mukherjee respectively.

According to source, “Finally it will be shown that Anu (Megha Chatterjee) Ma'am was the culprit behind every mess and chaos that happened between the friends and she was stalking and manipulating Ella, Sanju, and Vinnie. However, it will be shown that Anu will confess that she never wanted peace and prosperity among each other and it was a prank that she played and she eventually started enjoying it as well. Soon after her confession police will arrest her.”

On the other end Varun (Yuvraj Thakur) will apologize to his friends and they all will live happily ever after.

Love and drama to be the flavor on Channel V with Crazy Stupid Ishq
Youth targeted Channel V has been experimenting with many genres that can be executed on screen with a youth flavor. Currently, the channel is ruling young hearts with dance based Dil Dostii Dance and the tale revolving around college campus, The Buddy Project.

To add more spice, the channel is now coming up with another mix dose of emotions with Crazy Stupid Ishq. As of now TV has no love story in offer that rings with young India and makers of Crazy Stupid Ishq claim to do so.  Amidst the confusion and the rat race of this world there is a steady search for identity amongst the youth and love plays a very important part in shaping that identity.

The show is a love story of 4 people aiming to make a mark for themselves in life. It is an urban story with a strong desi flavor - shuttling between a romcom and drama.

Prem Kamath, GM & Channel Head of Channel V, said, "We've already carved a genre for ourselves, away from the niche of music channels that are called youth entertainment. Now it's the time to consolidate our status as the country's top youth GEC and Crazy Stupid Ishq is a step towards that direction”.
