After Tina Dutta performed in Uttaran, Aditya Redij was seen in double action in Junoon- Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq and Abbas Mehta carved a niche in town playing hilarious double roles in Lapataganj, here one more handsome actor Abhishek Malik is set to follow the suite.

He will be seen in a double avatar in Zee TV’s Punar Vivah- Ek Nayi Umeed, which is being produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd. Earlier, it was reported that Abhishek is making a comeback as Rohan, but the latest is that the actor has been offered to play a double role by the creatives.

“Abhishek will not just be seen as Rohan who had cheated on Sheela (Nazea Sayed) but also as Guru. And it’s Guru who will be related to Vikrant (Eijaz Khan). Interestingly, Sheela will bump into Guru and mistake him for Rohan. This is when Guru will introduce himself to her,” said sources.

Abhishek Malik said, “Yes, I’ve just learnt about this development and I am looking forward to playing a double role.”
